Miscellaneous Stuff

Our new librarian, Margarita, taking home the laminas to categorize them. She is going to do a wonderful job of getting our library organized. She has a shoe store, so anyone who can keep track of shoes should be a natural for the library!

Take a close look at this beautiful tree, of course big trees always remind me of the "tree of life" .

Just a question, why are there shoes in Esperanza's freezer with a pop bottle stuck in them? Oh, of course, it is a way of stretching them. Silly me!

On the way to Charala a pretty double water fall. clicking on it can zoom in The path to it is marked by the yellow sign.

Quaint Cathedral, and road work is universal. But look at the size of the stones that are chipped up and removed, they are putting water pipes in here, and then will piece the road back together.

The elders attending to a little baby bird. The mom came and encouraged it to fly to the bush you can see on the left edge of the left foto. When we left, she was hovering close by, and the little guy way chirping from deep in the bush.

Jose has lived in Charala all of his life, and makes three runs a day to San Gil and back. He is one of my favorites. Rogelio is always there with a smile to sell us our tickets.

The fridge made a great screen, and I must have given a very exciting lesson, the wet spot on the floor in the foto on the right is compliments of "Chocolate", the baby goat. Angel with Chocolate on the right.
