Eventually the shoes came off so that Sofia could try them.
Robinson is helping me learn how the names work with Spanish families. Genealogy is very confusing! Walking was not as easy as it looked!
Sofia joins in, my glasses survived!
This is our "casa capilla" (house chapel). We are just up the street, less than 1/2 a block.
Many birds make their homes in the Boston Ferns that hang in the patio in Esperanza's hotel.
This is the "ground" that existed clear past the street from Esperanza's hotel. The hotel is directly above the tiendas behind Esperanza and Wayne. It was like a farm clear to the river. It is common here for one person to own the ground level building, and someone else to own the next floor.
Esperanza and I are considering new wheels, but riding these is against mission rules, I think I'm ok with keeping that rule!
The missionaries put on a lunch at our house for the investigators that are being baptized this month.
Just some fun stuff from the last couple of weeks. It's been a great month so far. We have had just wonderful visits in many homes, the same planned for this week, we teach a little English this week, have the baptisms for the people at lunch this Saturday and next, and then we always plan for the surprises!
Thanks for nice Mother's Day!
Love,
Los Hermanos Jenson
